Anyone tell me the pros and cons of having a British or French driving licence when towing a caravan in France when you are 70?
The only thing I can think of is that here in France you have to have a towing category on your licence & take a medical every 2 years after 65 (I think) whereas I believe in Britain it's up to you to declare if you are fit. The other difference is the age thing. After 70 it's difficult to remember if you've hitched up & easy to drive off without the caravan saying :- "Blimey the car's going well today love" ;-)
