So Just What Is Reflexology?

Reflexology is the practice of applying pressure to designated zones on various parts of the body, in order to effect a change on the body as a whole.

Reflexology is most often used on the feet, hands or face and it requires the use of specific hand, thumb and finger techniques.

Reflexology is a safe, non-invasive natural therapy that has been around for some time - archaeological evidence suggests that reflexology was practiced by the ancient Egyptians and Chinese! Reflexology was less popular in the Western world, only really emerging as an alternative therapy in the 19th and 20th centuries but the rediscovery of ancient Chinese reflexology techniques have spread the practice throughout Asia, creating a thriving reflexology based industry.
