Wanted house for sale in the Lot near Floressac

Does any of you know of a "largish" house for sale in the Lot region.


Perhaps with a mother in law apartment and land . If you do, let me know my niece's family and my sister are looking to relocate in that area they will be visiting on January 24 .

No problem roger, it was just a thought as there is nothing to do apart to convert upstairs, which has already been started with one large room completed and half of the other section already plaster boarded out. Good luck

Hi roger my neighbour is selling and about to put her house on the market today. She is moving back to UK. It is a pretty stone house with pool wonderful views and pigeonnier, 4 beds but room for annex with further 4 beds upstairs, large barn and 7000m2 of fully fenced garden with electric gates and entry system. Going on for 410000€. Let me know if you are interested ASAP.

Thank you Michael, it was very kind of you to look out for what they think they want, Virginie, my niece, will got to visit a couple of places in the Lot this coming week end, but they may not be exactly what they are looking for, but they have time and she will schedule other visits I am sure, unless they fall in love with one of scheduled home they have visited.

Yes, the Lot is a lovely part of France and when they move there they will closer to us, we are in Charente Maritime .

Hello again.

We put the feelers out in our local area but could not find anything that your friends are looking for, the biggest problem was the separate self contained annex, a few people have got the odd gite that they rent out but would not be suitable for the winter weather conditions and would cost a small fortune to adapt them.

Sorry we cannot be of any help and we wish your friends the best of luck, they are looking to move to a really lovely part of france.

I can send you some photos to you of a great house in Tarn et Garonne but near St CLAR (GERS) about 1 hour drive south from you. 3 bed rooms on ground floor+ bathroom in master bedroom and shower room seprately (2 tiny ones under the colombage upstairs+ bathroom), large living/dining/kitchen area with huge fireplace, floorheating and authentic terra cotta tiling, attached to the main hous is a large barn converted now as workshop room with mirrors(yoga workshops were given) but can easily be changed to a independant unit with its own entrance. Nice swimmingpoolNot much land, total about 2 hectare I think. Asking price is 275 and sold directly without agent.

Michael I know that is the amount they mentioned, but it is possible that they would go higher if they fell in love with a house that had almost all what they want and need.

Ahhh, Rather a big ask for the budget, i know of one place which ticks the boxes but they are asking 375k euros for it reduced from 500k, it might be possible in prayssac town but they might have to compromise on the land.

Michael thank you for your offer of help they are looking at 250K euros and 3 bedrooms and an apartment for my niece's mother she would need to have her own kitchen and if possible, the apartment needs to be at street level, I know it is a lot to ask for, it can be in the country.

We live near Grezels and we walk the dogs up to Floressas most days, we know most of the houses which are for sale in that area, if you can give me some idea of your friends budget then i could pass the word round for them, best to try and buy private and avoid the extortionate immobilier fees.

The area is very popular with dutch buyers and houses up up 250keuros sell quite quickly, it is a very popular area with the brits and now buyers from belgium are back in the market again.

No sorry it is not a separate unit my mum lives with us. Garage conversion contains a large bedroom and en suite, large shower with seat, loo, and handbasin. It has sky TV. It is at the end of a corridor. There are 2 further bedrooms bathroom cloakroom and then a greatroom. New garage is nearly complete (see photo) could be converted into separate annex if required. House recently finished all new bosch appliances Grohe taps and shower.

It has 3 large bedrooms 1 with ensuite, large bathroom, small cloakroom with 3rd loo and a 50 sq meter great room with new american fitted oak kitchen. Price around 220,00 euros negotiable.
