Comment by Jane Williamson on March 2, 2012 at 11:59 Hi Barbara,
We live in the south of Burgundy, between Cluny and Charolles. We are very close to both the Beaujolais, Maconnais and Chalonnais regions.
We are in the process of finishing off ourLittle House" which will be a luxury gite, with a fully fitted kitchen, ideal for anyone who might like to combine a holiday with one week being cooked for and another week cooking forthemselves. We have wonderful views and a heated swimming pool.
Like Tracy, would like to chat.
Comment by Tracy Thurling on March 2, 2012 at 9:26 Hi Barbara,
I live in Burgundy and offer bespoke tours of the region, I'd be very interested in having a chat.

Hi Barbara
I presume you are too far from the Languedoc?
Kind regards
Sheila
morning.
I am looking for members who live in wine regions and have a vineyard or
touring co or b and b to join me to crerate a specialist holiday. Any one interested
in Burgandy, Loire or champagne?
Comment by Tracy Thurling on February 15, 2012 at 10:54 We decided to 'do' Valentines day on Saturday night when neither of us have been out at work - but Crement will also be on the list. Although as it happens, the snow cancelled work so we went for a Croque and frites maison at the local cafe and having a kir at lunch time felt very decadent!
Comment by Jane Williamson on February 14, 2012 at 9:55 At the moment it looks as though we shall be drinking Cremant de Bourgogne,as we are experiencing steady snow which has been falling all night and looks as though it is set in for the day.
We should have been going out to L'Estaminet in Mazille to try out their dinner menu!
Comment by bryan savage on February 13, 2012 at 21:50 OK Feb 14th now we all know what day that is,and as France is supposed to be the country of romance what are you all doing for your loved one and what will you be drinking, more to the point.
Comment by Tracy Thurling on November 24, 2011 at 13:23 Was just going by the fact that the notice is still up at the Mairie - haven't actually looked at it though. Looking on the internet, it appears it did finish on the 15 for the S & L -need to check out 21 as well for us though as we live on the border!
Comment by Jane Williamson on November 24, 2011 at 11:41 Hi Tracy, I thought that the Arret in 71 finished on about the 15th September.
We have not had any other information , have you?
Comment by Tracy Thurling on November 23, 2011 at 20:01 Ah yes, noticed the rain comments. Here in Burgundy I believe we are still under a drought, fortunately it's not a wine drought!
