A friend just sent me this, as we've had such a stressful day chasing our tails!!

It made me smile, so I'd like to share that.

Seems a little strange James, but hopefully, if it is a wound, the antibiotics will clear it up!

Best wishes

Back from vet with anti-biotics, vet thinks it could be a tumor due to it's shape and hardness. I'm more hopeful as it has a puncture wound and there was an almighty scrap in the garden a few days ago!

Hi James,

Best get the cat to the vets, it may be developing into an abcess which can be very nasty, it may need lancing to get all the gunge out, so just to be on the safe side, take him into the vet.  The trouble is when a wound closes in the infection, it festers and becomes very nasty.

Nice piccie though!!

I noticed a large lump on one of our cats bellies last night, it's around 4cm in length and is possibly slightly harder this morning. It has a puncture wound as looks clean. Does he need to go to the vet or should we just monitor it for the time being?

Thanks

James
