Who makes you go yum yum and why?Do you buy every book by an author because their mind makes you salivate? Do you get every film a certain actor is in because their butt looks great in tight jeans?…Continue

Comment by Julie Whittle on January 24, 2012 at 12:31 A recent scientific study found that the kind of male face a woman finds attractive can differ depending on where she is in her menstrual cycle. For instance,if she is ovulating she is likely to be attracted to men with rugged masculine features. And if she is menstruating, she is likely to prefer a man doused in petrol,& set on fire, with scissors rammed deep in his temple, & a cricket stump inserted up his bum.
Can't argue with that!:-)

Comment by Fran Burke on January 24, 2012 at 1:38 God it is only late at night when the house is still that I get to catch up. Hello everyone Happy New year!
Happy New Year everyone, it's been quiet a little on here, welcome to all the newbies.
I've had a very quiet Christmas and New Year, chest infection didn't help, but I've started my schedule for the Rome Marathon now, so it's taking over all my time and energy! But I aim to get online a couple of times a week if I can.
Keep up the good work, and let us hear how your Christmas and New Year went, and if you have any resolutions - or have you already broken them???
Comment by Tracy Thurling on December 8, 2011 at 13:58 I'm a great aunt too! My husband has a very extended family, so I have nieces and nephews older that me and great nieces and nephews who are older than my kids!
Mind you I was a late starter with my kids. Hope your twins are doing ok Shauna and the best of health to everyone.
Comment by Jacqui Webster on December 8, 2011 at 13:09 Apologies my lovely ladies for not being about as much as I should be. Having a bit of a tough time at the moment but hope to get my head round it all soon and be back with you at full capacity. Hugs to you all x
Comment by Shauna Jenkins Tomlin on December 4, 2011 at 18:48 Congratulations on another year and congrats on being a great Aunt.. I am very ready for my Great Aunt responsibilities!....All I want for Christmas is normal Blood work and healthy twins! I know a lot to ask. I will be saying a prayer for you in the wee hours of Christmas morning! I wanted to tell you one of my best friends qualified and ran the Boston Marathon this past year at age...70! He will be so jealous when I tell him about your Rome Race!
He has always been committed to his training schedule which includes yoga, cycling, body pump, and swimming several times a week, 7 days a week. Good Luck and keep me posted about your training!
Wishing you a Merry Healthy and Happy Christmas Shauna, and hoping the twins are soon well and you can post some photos. I too am a great aunt, have two g.nieces, 8 and 5 and that makes me feel ancient, but of course I'm not..... :-)
I hope everyone on here has a great Christmas and that 2012 brings health and happiness to one and all. I've been blessed with another Cancer Free year, so hope that 2012 is too, and hoping my 26.2miles round Rome in March is injury free.......if I manage the training, which starts on Christmas Day - bad planning, but that's how it goes. Think of me whilst you are all sipping your sherry/champs in the morning, I will be pounding out 16km before my Goose....can't wait.
Comment by Shauna Jenkins Tomlin on December 4, 2011 at 14:56 Is it December already?..Just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone..Hope everyone has a safe healthy holiday season. Been a tad busy...I am the proud great aunt of twins. No, I am not that old, am I? The parents are very young, yes that"s it! The two little identical turkeys were born on Thanksgiving the same day as their grandmother... They are not without problems and we could use your prayers....They were diagnosed with twin to twin syndrome, and surgery was performed several weeks prior. They were born 11 weeks early at 2.8 oz and 3.8 oz. Lots of tubes and ups and downs and tears and joy . A long road ahead.....I too have had lots of ups and downs and medical issues so hopefully we will get thru this once again....Ho ho ho....Merry Christmas?
