Paris has been particularly glorious this autumn / fall. Really, the leaves seem to have been fatter and yellowy-oranger and more gorgeous than I can ever remember them. This was taken on the Butte aux Cailles, and the woman in the highly colour-coordinated legwear walked across my picture at just the right moment because my photographic heart of hearts wanted her to :-D

Hi Jane - that pic is gorgeous - bursting with love and pleasure, and oh look, there's that tower thing in the background too ;-) I lived on a barge on the Seine for a year once but not in Paris. Is that the lucky son, by the way? I suppose it is. Stylish way to do it!

Just as a matter of interest, I thought that some of you might be interesed to know that I've produced over 120 10-ish minute video tutorials, available on You Tube, where I analyse a photograph I or some of my photo tour clients have taken in Paris, both from the technical and emotional point of view. Nice critiques, Sab! I'll look more of them up...I'm not a professional, but I'm quite 'snap-happy' with my little Canon power-shot, and I will start to post some of my Paris photos..
