Wow! What an amazing building, Neil. I'm told that, when so many lines were "Beechinged" some years ago, SNCF still retains the right to those paths/tracks, etc and can re-establish them if they wish. It would be good to see some of that damage reversed.
I wish that had been the case in the UK; it was such a criminal waste - and I really do mean "criminal" - what went on between Beeching and Marples.
I'm a long-time railway fan. Here's me at 14 driving "The Maid of Kent":
A rather large creature on the railway line.
The amazing station at Canfranc just over the border from Somport in the Pyrenees. SNCF are proposing re opening the line from Oleron in the next few years.
Hopefully you can add to them Ron and enlighten us more on your pro days?
Cheers, Stuart. I'm sure (?) there will be some interesting discussions here, ce n'est pas?
Welcome to the group Ron. I think ;)

I found this idea quite a nice tip - for a soft focus look, use a plastic bag and tear the sealed end and put it over your lens (you'll need to translate the page unless you can read Slovakian):http://www.kreativita.info/foto-trik-s-desiatovym-sackom/
