Singles Group

As a single guy in Charente Maritime region (Saintes / Cognac), loads of married friends who I can share good times with its not quite the same.

So is there already a social club for single people, or is there potential to start one?

Anyone interested in joining me in starting one please contact me. Perhaps meeting once a month and outings to suit, lots of ideas to discuss.

Men and women, English French no exclusions of course!

Ideally (for me) I am looking at my own region but should we have a seperate section on this site to cover more of France ?

I did try other french expat sites and they all apear to be aimed at Sex excounters as the main part, which is OK but what if you are just looking for social friends and hope that relationships will build as a result.

Welcome back, Colin!  Great birthday celebrations at yours last weekend, I slept like a log after the long walk too and good to meet your UK "old" friends.

Hi all, it's with much regret that I have to tell you that the lady I was seeing has sold her house here and is going back to UK for a while. So I have come back to see what's been happening, not a lot it seems. What have you all been doing ?? Not much correspondence since I left !! A couple of new members have joined  it seems. Is the party that was in the planning still going ahead ? I will have to think of something to get you all motivated again, perhaps !!

Intro, Sorry about the photograph..It is the only one I have...passport photo..probably explains why I get stopped at Border/customs posts..quite amusing watching them rotate the passport through 360 degrees going through some form of eyesight-reality check.(^|^). My profile says a little about me Sporting activities are not at Olympian self destruct standards..merely at an enjoyable smiling, happy, talking pace. Currently hot footing it to & fro UK-Glenic, hope to complete it all by July 2013. Regards Patrick..(One day I will try to explain why I have this name)

So glad it's all working out for you, Colin!  You must call by and introduce her if you're lurking my way.

Luckily, Jill, I did my caravan stint in the six hot months of summer in 2006.  It was absolutely baking here and so lucky to have such good weather when the house wasn't habitable.
