Comment by neil whitehead 7 hours ago I have used a www.bobbooks.co.uk in the past for printing but 26 pages minimum for £18. Have an HP Photosmart 8750 A3+ printer that gives great results with 300dpi TIFF files rather than JPEGS. Is there a maximum size on Issuu?

Comment by Ron Birks 8 hours ago oh... didn't think the French had a word for entrepreneur?

Perfect bound i think Ron. Can't offset anything unfortunately as I am an auto entrepreneur.

Comment by Ron Birks 11 hours ago ... ugger me James 12 squid... hope you can offset this somewheres?

Comment by Ron Birks 11 hours ago S. have to go for hospital visit. Bk later. If you can kindly make those deletions, great. Michelle has loaded InDesign on my Mac...Chat later or PM? I think we can re-visit this last issue, and amend to suit. Cheers both. I reck its within our interests to get these looking s*** hot! ( heisse scheisse )

Ron, good idea to get original jpegs from the selected artists for each issue. Once you have done the design, send me the pages, and I will make up the composite. I can then check the size and make sure it is within the limits imposed by Issuu. If the composite comes in too big, we can then rethink. Also, we should delete all the individual pages from Issuu so there is nothing on our "bookcase" other than complete magazines. Whaddya tink? And if you agree, do you want me to do the deleting?

Comment by Ron Birks 11 hours ago @ Sheila and James. Interesting thanks. The 'res' needs some thought, from memory all pics were dragged off the Gallery in the Art Dept... some 4-500 kbts.. which I re-saved and doubled in size ( in Preview ) which is I think not exterpolated ( sp? ) up to say a Meg. The back page is James's photo, 10 megs throughout.. must be sharp as a*****? I think for issue 2, if we know the Artists and content we can request original files. What is the stock like? and the finishing.. just stiching? ( staples ) I think, Sheila, 16pp is just about right..thoughts anyone?

Ron, the final composite I made and published came in at 35 mbs, so I think you can keep the resolution a bit higher, if we stick to 16 pages, and avoid the pixelation.

A4 Ron, laser printed, some of the images are a little pixelated, possibly the most expensive print out in history at €12.33 inc delivery and vat. Even so it's very nice indeed!

Comment by Ron Birks 12 hours ago @ James... have you got a swollen hand ..Or is it A5?
