and police constable. I have three children, Max aged 8, Arlo aged 5 and Eve aged 18 months. If you are ever at a loose and and fancy a trip out for coffee or even as the weather warms a visit with us to the nearby lake Guerledan feel free to give me a shout. My other half is a very busy brit builder so we spend lots of time pottering. Bye and hope this damn weather breaks soon, can't be doing with the foggy days. Leeanne

Hi Emily

I am actually going to see Jacques this evening so I will ask him what he thinks. I can probably get a copy off him if youw ould like me to post it to you. If so let me have your address. My tel no. is 0248 723026.

I was in the same position as you with 3 boys under 5 and hating housework so I got stuck into 'educating' them at home and even set up my own small playgroup (which was allowed in those days). When we were in Oman I taught them myself as there was no suitable school. My motto is 'there is always a way round it'!

ha ha..stay in touch. If U need any help, I'm here. Don't beat yourself up about trying to cope with 3 different age groups at once. Just give them stuff to do and immerse them in what you can, That's all you can do. You are neither a baby-sitter nor an exam board so they'll have to take what you can give them. After all, they've thrown all of them at you! Have a glass of wine!! :-)

Dear Emily

Welcome to the network - we hope you find it useful!

If you haven't already done so, don't forget to upload a photograph of yourself so NOT your cat or your company logo (!), to your profile (use the setting button on the right hand side of your page) and once you've completed your profile information, you will be able to see your location on the 'Members Map'. This feature is a great way to find other people in your area so do make sure you add your location - that way other people will be able to find you too! And do add as much information to your profile as possible. Again, that way SFN members searching for people with similar interests, hobbies and occupations will be able to connect with each other.

Feel free to join any groups that look interesting or suggest your own. The groups can all be found in the social tab at the top of the page. If you're a blogger you can also add your blog posts to SFN - we love reading them!

You can list items for sale in the Bring Buy and Sell group and add any events to the Events page. And come and say 'Hi' in the chat window - we're all very friendly!

Best wishes
Catharine and James
