visa renewal

Can someone help me with this rather urgent question. I need to renew my long-stay visa for the first time, but I am currently in the US with my kids so I cannot go to the Prefecture in Paris to make an appt. I went on-line to register for an appt and I cannot make one. This is the info it asks for--when I enter it, it simply gives me the blanks to fill in again. I don't know if the "N° de votre titre de séjour" is my visa number, my vignette number, my OFII number or my Etr number, but I have…See More

Suggestion for car rental please

I need to rent a car this weekend to drive to Toulouse and pick up my dog. I have searched on-line and not found any companies that appear to have any positive reviews. I think, as much as I dread the idea of driving in the city, I need a pick on location like Gare de Lyon, bc I do not want to bring him back into Paris on the Metro, Any suggestions?JenniferSee More

Need apartment in Paris

Posted on February 23, 2011 at 21:30 0 Comments

I am an American living in Paris with my two children, ages 18 and 12 and our 2 cats and 1 dog. We had previously been living in Toulouse, but moved to Paris in February when my daughter was accepted to Speos (Photographic Institute) here. We will be in Paris at least until the end of July when my daughter finishes school.

We are currently renting an apartment through a friend but the owner returns mid-March and we will need to relocate. We are in the 11th arr. and prefer to retain… Continue

Hi Jennifer, thank you for the helpful comments,I too have used Homeopathy for 20 yrs plus,& started studying it here primarily to treat my animals,as I was so frustrated with the vet care.
I have no real experience of nutrition, but would be grateful for any advise you could offer.
I wish I could have done one of your seminars when you were in Toulouse,
about 2 hrs from me,I share a lot of your perspectives, having read your 'blog'& am interested in learning more.
Regards
Julie

hi jennifer,
i read here you are a holistic lactation consultant! i have been breastfeeding for the past 8 months- just had a blood test done and am low in vit D. whats a natural way to get this into the diet- or do you suggest vitamin tablets? also, i would like to give my liver a cleans- and my digestive system. what do you suggest for liver cleanse thats ok for breastfeeding? i think dandelion tea and coffee should be ok yes? saint-marys thistle i thought could be good- but maybe not while b-feedin. and what do they call slippery elm here? anyway, any help would be great.

Hi Jennifer
A bit late but welcome to Health Matters. I have been away. I see you are american. Do you know Diane Lyndsay who is also from the States? She lives near Paris though her profile says Figeac! She is an Allo Alolo member.
