Man Needed!!!!

Hi, I am looking for a handy man/ furniture restorer who is good with ageing and painting and general repairs. A man with tools and a van would be really good and if he was willing to be involved in supplying my Interiors store in the UK so much the better. I am currently writing a book on authentic interiors and need very much to focus so looking for that special person who is as passionate as me about old things. Anyone in the Montpellier/ Nimes area out there please contact me. See More

For all of you thinking of re- vamping during the winter, and paying a bit of attention to maybe recovering a tired sofa, or making some new…

Miv, It's a 257 bedroom hotel. Each room has a sofa beneath the window. The sofas we need are 2 to 2,80m long (roughly - i have the cad drawings of the mock up) - but some of the other rooms, such as the twins have a different configuration.

Headboards - I have 210 double rooms, so one double headboard per unit, plus 47 twin, so two per unit.

The design is French architect design for the whole of the refurb, and the sofa spec has been described as a very comfortable fill with a Mercedes E-Class leather or faux leather finish.

We are currently at feasibility stage so I don't really have much more detail apart the cad drawings and the developed renderings.

We will also need bespoke items for the bar sofa - currently designed serpentine, and the 125m² club lounge.

This is one of the big worldwide hotel brands, and the project will only go ahead if our feasibility study is positive.

Timing - design and mobilisation until the end of this year with construction starting in January 2012, 18 month phased construction period.

I hope this information helps and if you think it is something you can quote for and handle - then why not speak further. My professional e-mail is nick.ord@gleeds.fr

Best regards

Nick
