Rob Wilson replied to Corson Bremer's discussion Are you really ready to be "French"?
"I certainly wouldn't suggest that you 'owe' the French (or France in general) anything - as you say, you pay your dues and of course you have the right to live here and express yourself on the subject.  Doesn't sound like…"

Rob Wilson replied to Corson Bremer's discussion Are you really ready to be "French"?
"I moved to France for a variety of reasons, but it certainly wasn't to 'have French friends'.  I must admit to finding such an idea slightly bizarre - the thought that 'the French' as a nation make better or worse…"

Searchable Personal Info (Hobbies, interests etc...)
I'm originally from Stoke-on-Trent but went to Newcastle University where I got a French and Politics degree which involved spending a year in Paris as an English teaching assistant. After graduating I returned to Paris where I worked for 2 years before I was transferred to Toulouse where I've now lived for 8 years.
Searchable Business Info (Products, services etc...)
I have a small music shop and repair workshop in the centre of Toulouse (47, rue de la Colombette) called Paprika's Workshop (www.paprikasworkshop.com). I look after the sales side and my colleague Paprika takes care of the workshop.

At the workshop we deal with just about any stringed instruments but specialise in guitars (of all kinds), mandolins, bouzoukis, lutes etc. We also repair and customise amps and effects.

We sell new and used instruments - again, specialising in guitars but we often have other weird and wonderful bits and pieces in! We also sell amps, effects and all sorts of accessories - strings, leads, cases, stands, picks, slides...
