Hi Rosemary.
I'm setting up a teacher's networking/idea exchange group in Toulouse and our first meeting to establish what everyone needs and wants is this Thursday 24 Feb in Labege centre commercial at 18h30 - Restaurant called Les 3 Gats. I put a link to the Doodle poll on the Staffroom page. If not here it is again. Do come if you like.

Dear fellow teachers.

After lots of enthusiastic feedback, I have organized a first meeting for the English Teachers Project - I wanted to strike while the iron is hot, so have arranged it just before the holidays.
This is to establish what we would all like/need from such a group, how often it would be good to meet and a list of topics to be discussed.
I hope that the date will suit!!
One of our colleagues has a restaurant where we can have the space to have a meeting followed by a meal for those who would like to stay on (or join us later).

It is 'Les 3 Gats' in Labege Innopole Centre Commercial with free parking and easy to get to.
Date: Thursday 24 February
Time: 18h30 for the meeting and 20h for the meal.
Meal: Selection of tapas, a choice from 2 main dishes and a glass of wine for 15 euros.

I am sending out a Doodle Poll where you can put down your name (so that we know more or less how many people can come). Please put it in one or both spaces depending on your availability. If you can't get to the meeting, you can always come along for the meal afterwards to meet everyone. Please feel free to pass this on to other English teachers you think might be interested.
Looking forward to seeing those who can get there,

Nikki Wilkinson-Rodriguez

Hi Rosemary
Sorry it took me a while to get round to welcoming you - we were helping a friend move house and got back exhausted!
Anyway welcome to the network - we hope you find it useful. If you haven't already done so, don't forget to upload a photograph of yourself to your profile. You can also pinpoint your location on the 'Members Map' and feel free to join any groups that look interesting. And don't forget to introduce yourself in the Discussion forum - we're a friendly lot and will look forward to hearing from you!

Best wishes

Catharine and James
