I had the best experience buying a couch today. Because of the small living room we had, we decided to go the route of a salon marocain. I like the geometric forms of the tables and no arm rests on the furniture.We bought it here Salon Salam Hannach in Montreuil sous Bois. Fifteen minutes for sanity

Flylady says you can do anything for 15 minutes.
I decided to use my timer more this year.
When I sit down to the computer to check my emails, I put it on for 15 minutes.
When I walk out the door with the dog, I put it on for 8 then turn around when it rings and I know I've done 15 minutes of walking. We have a lab so he gives me a good walk! :)

My first memory of a French house is a feeling: cold. I wondered how the climate could be so temperate, yet the houses freezing cold.
When my oldest, now 24, was just a toddler, we were staying at someone's house. I told Gabrielle not to touch the walls; her hands were dirty. Our host said,"You'll do well here in France.
