hello Steven, gosh you have very handy skills i will bear you in mind when i get my place. When I come it is to set up a permanent home. At the moment my house is on the market so it is just a question of time. I have been planning to come to france for over 2 years now and i am taking advantage of the wait to do my homework. I will be looking to settle in the south haute vienne/perigord vert border but who knows in this life! Nice talking to you.

Hi Steven - We're in The Haute-Loire... fair old distance from the Lot I fear,
We love what we do, we really have chanced on a little town with a hugely vibrant artistic life - rural and simple, and yet Tence boasts a smashing cinema, loads of live music with hugely supportive local crowds, a beautifully positioned salle de spectacle (which Joe and I have been involved in kitting out sound and lighting-wise) run by friends and full of life.L'Ours Macon
I sing, (jazz and blues kind of thing)... and am searching to find some like-minded musicians... hopefully just a matter of time!

Oh by the way, Alexis (my eldest) came home from uni for the hols and decided to attack the drums again. They were both trying some Led Zep.
Cheers

Hi Steven

I work in St Céré as a project manager manufacturing and exporting machines for the automobile and aeronautic industry. That's where I'm typing this from.........naughty boy.
My youngest son Antony, plays some guitar and the eldest is supposed to play drums but he has lost the touch now. Antony is quite good at the guitar, he learnt the classic way when we were in the UK but now of course wants to play Rock. The only thing that he is missing now is more technique and imagination. I'm sure he would like to spend more time on it, but he is also learning to fly, (but he's got no wings) Now there's a good song title ;).
I'm sorry, I read so many profiles on here, but is it you that has the recording studio?
I wouldn't mind a look round.

Look forward to hearing from you.
All the best.
Stuart

You're probably getting into your stride, then... :-)
If you're in Limousin, perhaps you know Steve Somers, and excellent player with whom I work from time to time - and who I'll invite to join the group.
All the best,
Roger
