I’m not certain what you mean. I’m retired and have IRA’s invested through stocks on American exchanges and American-based mutual funds. All of my IRA’s are linked to an American bank account that I have kept open. So when I moved here, all that I had to do was make certain that my American address of accommodation was on the accounts and that I could transfer funds readily from my American bank to my French bank.
