Can anyone assist with information as to how one goes about obtaining a certified true copy of proof of residence in France. Apparently this is needed in order to sell a property in the U.K.
Any info much appreciated.

I would hve thought that completion of the Form-France-Individual obtainable from the HMRC website and taken for certification at your local tax office (in France) would suffice for this purpose.
It is stamped and certified by the tax office (here) and the tax payer then sends the English version to HMRC, the french tax office retain the version française for their records.
Many thanks for that - appreciate the info.
