A friend of mine has a UK War Disability Pension and also an Army pension. I am helping him to complete his first French tax return and know that the army pension is a government pension, so that is ok. However, the problem arises with the war disability pension. It is tax free in the uk, does anyone know if that applies in France also and any knowledge of where on the tax return it goes.

There’s certainly some exoneration for French anciens combattants … but it seems quite complex (maybe only to me).
As this is your friend’s first French tax return, why not discuss at the local Tax offices…
