Where do you shop?

It’s a very good site, now check this out, think it will be of interest to you Roger www.assuremafranchise.fr
Regards
Karina…

Brilliant information Karina - thanks - John’s stuff looks great - I’m about to order some !

Lee is a great guy and has just added more sauces to his range… Thanks for the link Craig. I have just put a link to your site on my status on Facebook…

http://www.johnpricethebutcher.com/products.html John gives a very good service. He does mail all over France. He also does a monthly collection point in Touloise and Roquecor 82. The products include a full range of English sausages, bacon, British beef, homemade pies, lamb mince and muuc more. He has been a butcher here for about 15 years and makes all the sausages etc himself, his wife Sally makes all the pies…

They are good, Craig McGinty interviewed Lee from Packetcurry last year, you can hear him talking about his curry’s here

http://packetcurry.com/ This is where I buy my packet curry mixes, He is based in France and they are fantastic ! The nearest to an English restaurant curry and he posts them to you.

Not sure whether this should have been posted here or in Big Boys Toys but it might be helpful for someone!

This price comparison site can save/has saved me loads of money on my car and sante assurance. All in French but hey!!

Oh this is one of my favourite sites! Bargains galore…

www.chemistdirect.co.uk

For all chemist supplies each order costs 7 euros 50 for delivery to europe no matter how small or large and lots of things are a lot cheaper

George

It’s better for all generously proportioned types. TOH buys from:
http://www.evans.co.uk
And delivery to SW France is only £5.00 per order!!! and you can save that on a couple of boxes of tights.

I have used your shop Lynn in Rodez…its great. When you can’t get an indian takeaway, the Pataks sauces are the next best thing!!
Karen

Hi - you wanted to hear from people that know of places for shopping - just to let you know we have a British shop in Rodez, Aveyron (Midi Pyrennes) and a web site through which people can order for postal delivery throughout France.
We sell all the British favourite including chilled & frozen foods, British ales, English books & greetings cards & some gifts. We also go back to the UK approx once a month so are able to get special orders for people or collect items for them if required. There seem to be less & less British shops in France now as supermarkets are starting to stock the essentials but we have found ourselves very popular with the locals (75% of our customers are French) who seem to think buying English things is a bit of a novelty! We would love to be able to let other know about our shop on your site which I was recommended to by someone who met you at the show in London recently. Our web site is www.specialitesdegrandebretagne.com Many thanks & good luck with the site.

http://www.nextdirectory.eu but unfortunately they’ve just scrapped their home store due to lack of demand and customs problems

Thanks Roger!

Stirlings say that Tescos will no longer deliver to third parties. Seems a poor commercial decision to me but…
Phoned Tesco.com Customer services to try and find out why they have discontinued this service and they are? going to e-mail me back as soon as they have an answer…Will keep you informed
