Whilst this might not appeal to all… it does look interesting.

Oooh

Nice circuit. Having driven in both directions along the coast between Ajaccio and Bastia via Saint Florent, definitely worthwhile.
I’ve also done the lower circuit, and part of the middle one. If you like mountain driving, tight bends, narrow roads, views of the sea, cliffs, mountains and forest, and the odd cow, goat or wild boar in the middle of the road, your brain’s reward system will go into overdrive

Ha ha… that is one of our fondest memories of Corsica… the uncertainty of what is around the next bend. We’ve experienced falling rocks, a coach advancing at speed in the middle of the narrow road… and yes, cows, goats and sanglier… :upside_down_face::crazy_face:

We did a similar “Sancy” randonnée many years ago… in a 1961 Renault Ondine. It was a great experience and we made lots of new friends… :hugs:

But it seems we will be on their mailing list for ever…

If anyone is interested, contact M Rouveyroux …

The first day’s tour should be quite scenic, especially the drive from Tour d’Auvergne through Picherande, on to Super-Besse then Saint Nectaire and Lac Chambon and back over one of the cols to Mont Dore. Can’t speak for the second day, as I don’t know that area as well, that’s the western edge of the range and I don’t tend to drive around there as much.

Have none of you heard of climate change?

Absolutely, cycling is also a very good alternative which I would highly recommend, although not very efficient when visiting my clients.

Tulip Rally 2020 starts in France this year…

11th May we are hoping to catch sight of them as they thunder northward from Bordeaux…
