Abandoned buildings

Please take a look at this folk. This is the most fascinating set of pictures of abandoned buildings worldwide: http://distractify.com/culture/arts/the-most-spectacular-abandoned-places-in-the-world/

Aren't they all so 'precious' (examples of folly).

I'm sure David Rosemont will turn up and say it leaked. It did.

Have a look at this one . A superb piece of twentieth century architecture abandoned by the Catholic Church in Scotland.

We can add another one to this list.

In a nearby village there is a huge sanatorium which looks like Berchtesgarden. It was built in the thirties for TB patients from quite a wide area, hence it is so big.

It dominates the village, but is screened by pine trees. There is no infrastructure to support turning it into private housing and it is too rural for social housing. It is painted white, which is quite appropriate for what it has become, a total white elephant and a drain on the Departement.
