About to register as an Auto-Entrepreneur (I have a couple of questions)

Hi all,


Just for me to get it clear, I would be grateful if someone could clarify the following two points:


I am going to place advertisements on supports such as websites, blogs and mostly social networks. All of those supports are USA based (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc...). Everything is done online via a USA company that collects payments from my customers and keep the funds till I am ready to clear via a PayPal account from where I transfer to my banque account.


1/ Under what Auto-Entrepreneur "Domaine d'activité" should I register? I thought of "Internet" -"Choisissez votre acitivité" I thought that the most appropriate would be: "Web Marketer, Marketing en Ligne".


2/ I often see in this group mention of issuing invoices. I do not have direct contact with the advertisers as far as payment is concerned, it is all done online. How do I go about this? I could only produce a PayPal statement.

The links below show that an invoice is obligatory between professionals, even as AE. The person who is giving you the money is the customer, ie the US company, therefore a facture is compulsory - in French!

For those who deal with private clients, then an invoice is only compulsory if the amount is over 25 euros or any amount if the customer asks for one.

Hi

dont worry too much about the invoices - just keep detailed records for yourself to work from as you do a quarterly declaration online giving your gross revenue from this activity which then triggers the amount due for cotisations due typically now around 26 %

my advice would be have a very streamlined system with as little paper as possible (the frenchies will make sure you have plenty of this !) and keep on top of it so you have the figures available every quarter.

once you get going its totally straightforward.

The business I want to register as AE is about selling advertisement space online. There is no delivery of physical product.
