AE - How long does it take for a Siret number?

Hi everyone.


I have a simple question here.


I applied for AE on 20/12/2013 and received the usual conformation emails back instantly. I understand it was over the Christmas period but how long does it take to receive a Siret number?


I need to advertise my business on some websites like RootstockAds but I need the Siret number to do so.


Help please.

I have just received a reply from urssaf about my siret number and they have conveniently lost all my details so I have to apply again.

Geoff applied at the very beginning of December and has his Siret number came through in about three weeks. Since then, we have had a steady flow of communication from all the relevant agencies.

Hi Neil,

Mine took between 3 and 4 weeks, just before Christmas. Sorry it's taking so long for you. It didn't cause me a problem as I was able to use a copy of my online declaration in the interim, but I understand that it is more pressing for you.

I think I would be inclined to chase them if nothing has arrived by the end of the week. Good luck!
