AE registration

Hello all. I hope this query is going into the AE group discussion, but at this time of night it could well end up elsewhere - please redirect it if this happens.I have trawled through quite a bit of the AE group threads, but cannot find an answer to my question/s.


I am trying to use the on-line registration form through www.lautoentrepreneur.fr I am really struggling with it, as my business does not fall into the proscribed drop down menu choices. I answered the top drop down with 'I do not know my domaine', but then I cannot seem to write anything in the second drop-down box.


Has anyone else had to deal with this problem?


Would I be better just downloading a hard-copy form, and heading off in person to a CFE - I believe Niort has a helpful CFE - has anyone used Niort in person themselves, and if so, do you have any advice for me, please?


All help will be gratefully received as I am losing heart with it now, and really want to get registered.

Just above your post is a heading 'useful links'. The first section once you have clicked on it is AEs. Your answer is in there. My wife and I certain had your problem because we are both research social scientists and there was no actual category that identified us. We talked to them, were classified as liberal professions and that was that.
