"Alone Together: Why We Expect More from Technology and Less from Each Other" by Sherry Turkle

This just appeared in the widget box and sounds interesting, I’ll let the author do the talking http://l.wbx.me/l/?instId=15a56a23-6e94-427b-ad03-c6c4432b689f&token=a0448a2ca68d6388296dc9159077babe5a369b9f0000012dd22157a0&u=http%3A%2F%2Ffeeds.guardian.co.uk%2F~r%2Ftheguardian%2Fbooks%2Frss%2F~3%2FzWe_TPxWjaU%2Fauthor-sherry-turkle-life-screen

You’re welcome Jayne. They were talking about this on You and Yours today, here’s a link

I’ve just read this article, in between making tea, putting my little girl to bed and reading her two stories (I, myself have spent too much time at the computer of late and ignored the most precious things in my life) and taking the dogs out, so it has taken some time! I wholeheartedly agree with the author and sometimes it takes something like this to pull you up short and think. Thank you Wendy for sharing it
