We’re a family of 3 planning our move to Montpellier next summer. Our son, David, is currently 6 years old, and will turn 7 before our move (likely entering CE1 in the fall of 2026).
We will be visiting for a few days this holiday season between 12/27 and 12/31, and so we wanted to reach out on this board and see if any families with kids around that age would be interested in getting together during those days. We’d love to make a friend or two (us and David ) before the actual move.

Hiya and welcome! Montpellier is one of our fav cities in France and our regular bolt-hole. A perfect place in many respects.
We are 50 miles (80km’s) north of the City Centre but won’t be around after Xmas….but feel free to ask any questions if I can help but I know there’s plenty of US folk in MPL and nearby and a whole community in Provence and MRS. (I’m sure you have been in contact already).

Hello! Fellow American, yet have lived in France 12 years. Lived and worked in Montpellier 2018-22. Don’t know if you’ll be renting or purchasing, but highly recommend air-conditioning. Not a standard feature in most rentals. Can get quite hot in summertime.
