Amol Rajan

Is it true that Amol is taking his family and returning to India as life there will be better for them?

I must say that his speed of speech on Radio 4’s Today programme has constantly annoyed me. Am I alone in thinking that radio presenters should be easily able to be understood?
I wish him and his family well in their future life in India.

Now we just need a replacement such as another Justin Webb

He annoys @David_Spardo too !

I like him: he’s a welcome change to the usual BBC mindset. He seems to have an enquiring mind, and to think differently.

I could well imagine someone like him looking at what the West has become, and choosing an alternative which matches his morality, though I don’t know if that is the reason. (I didn’t know he was moving.)

His enquiring mind is not in dispute. I appreciate a lot of the conversations that he provokes.

Just wish he would slow down on his delivery when on BBC radio 4 Today programme. Someone wrote to him and published a reply from Mr Rajan in the letters section of the Daily Telegraph. They had enclosed a five pound note if he agreed to speak more slowly. The fiver was returned to the sender of the letter. nuff said.

He says “he’s thinking about it” but no more concrete than that.

I didn’t suggest it was.

I didn’t suggest that you inferred was either Porrage. I don’t dislike him as such. Appreciate some items he takes on too

I didn’t mean to cause confusion on this thread

Sorry, meant Porridge. I like you at breakfast with a few blueberries.

On the radio this morning, BBC radio 4 Today.

Amol Rajan is to appear in Celebrity Traitors He was seen wearing a black outfit and when asked if he was going to appear on this programme denied it. They say he was getting into character by not telling the truth.
