In the UK we have found various outlets for animal feed....this includes bovine, pig, poultry and dog food. One of these is a specialist organic biscuit maker who sells his organix biscuit waste very cheaply, another cheese farm sells its whey, others sell cheap potato/vegetable excess for animal feed supplments. Obviously you cannot use these with supplementing with proper feed and vits as needed. As we are planning a move to France hopefully this year, we re looking for similar outlets in SW France. If anyone has any suggestions, we would be very grateful (I have located a postal system for frozen dog food in Normandy that distributes throughout France).
(obviously no mixed products that may contain meat waste,).
