I'm an italian expat, I have been living in Paris since 23 years, and I'm from a little and unknown town 2 hours by train at the south of Rome. I'm a good cook, I have a passion for gastronomy.
I'm thinking to write an iBook about the southern italian gastronomy ( recipes but also geography, history, economy and more about the region).
My little region is a great place to spent at least a week to enjoy nature (there's a part of protected national park), little medieval villages with their castles, great food, ancient traditions ( some towns have been created before Rome).
Part of the local gastronomy is pretty unknown, and I'd like to let to discover it with an iBook and ebook. I'd like to publish in french, italian and english at least.
Do you think I have a world market for this kind of book? Ot is it too much local ?
So far, I'm searching for seeds money for the project.
Meantime, if there's a food od a good writer I'd like to meet her/him if in Paris, or to talk by mail.
Any suggestion, idea, thought, question is more than welcome :-)
