I'm posting on behalf of a friend (and new SFN member) Isabelle whose daughter Emma would like to work as an au pair in the UK this summer.
Emma will be 21next month, she has a driving licence and is experienced with young children. Last summer she looked after her cousin's two year old daughter in Marseille and she often babysits the 7 year old daughter of a friend as she likes looking after kids. Emma is a non-smoker and has been working as a waitress in the summer holidays for the last four years. She's also worked in the local bakery during the high season and ended up looking after the owner's children.
Emma is both self-reliant and very sociable, she's reliable and responsible. She also loves sports. At the moment she is doing a BTS MUC in commercial management at the lycée in Dax - this involves an internship so she is used to the professional working environment too.
