I was driving up the D26 towards Verteuil this evening in the strong evening sunshine. The bright sunlight, deep shadows and autumnal colours made me realise how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful area. I had been feeling fed up about the summer being over but perhaps autumn days aren’t too bad after all!
