Yesterday 2 sparrows and lo and behold today a Swift baby. Had to post this rather poor video because I have never actually ever seen a swift at rest. The book says they are not designed to be earthbound except to have and be young. When you watch this video that all makes sense. They move exactly the same way a bat moves when it is grounded. We will have to get him strong and let him try out his wings indoors because once he take off he will be on his own. There is also a photo of him on here today.
