Has anyone else started to be charged by there band for not being a resident of France, im with Credit Agricole Sud and I’m now going to be charged €20.00 per month?
Has your bank actually said that this monthly charge is because you are a non-resident???

Yeah says it in the app and I have been into the branch and they confirmed this.

What is your use case for a FR bank account?
In branch they definitely said monthly.

Is there a specific reason for having a FR bank account with CA - what do you use it for…
Taxes, utilities, restaurants, shopping, generally.
Then perhaps look for alternates including online banking

mustsay, it’s unusual for banks to simply take charges without having first notified the customer

That sounds about right. I have a mastercard debit card with CA for which I pay €10/month which also includes the yearly subscription fee and insurance so for a non-resident they are obviously charging a bit more monthly to maintain this service.
