I really should keep a closer eye on my bank statement. A recent check revealed that a life insurance and another policy has been added without my permission. The amounts aren't much ( presumably the bank hopes I will not notice them). I am going to branch tomorrow to cancel them but I wondered if anyone has experienced this? Also, does anyone have a letter template I could use to request a refund, back dated from the first unauthorised payment. A properly worded letter is probably my best chance of a refund.
