Off for a few days, taken a Studio in Le Palais, anyone know the place, recommendations, things to see? Often thought of stopping with the boat, never managed it though

Thanks we will Stella, first time I passed with the boat, was in 70, on the way back from my first trip to the Med, time and/or tide have never been right to put in there for a visit before

Think that was a place further North David, no I don’t miss the boat, enjoyed living aboard and voyaging, never keen on pottering about. 
Love pottering especially where islands are involved.

I was lucky while working, having the Isle of Man, Cumbrian and S. Scottish coasts for W/E sailing, Ireland for longer W/Es then the Clyde and Scottish W. Coast and Islands a day away, really varied area

So many wonderful places in France to visit … so little time
Thanks to my French ‘partner’ I have seen some amazing places and have some great memories. Still loads to see and do, just back from 2 days cycling around La Charité sur Loire, knackered but happy !
