Looks like spring is just round the corner and it is time for me to restock my hen house. The last one was taken by a buzzard last Autumn. There is a large market in Giat (63), Puy de Dome this coming weekend which is always good for poultry, but I believe there are some restrictions in place regarding movement of poultry from department to department due to the latest bird flu outbreak - we live next door in 23 - Creuse, but can't find any details. Anyone know if this is the case, or what departments are affected by any restrictions. Dont want to buy some chickens only to have them confiscated by the poultry police!
