For anyone interested, I have just published a novel called Clouds over the Montagne Noire about local village life here in the Aude. Some of the book is based on experience of living here over the last twelve years, especially experience of helping a local wine producer with his grape harvest. I have changed some place names but Carcassonne and Narbonne have not been changed. Some of you may recognize the village even though the name has been changed!
