I’m looking for some information regarding retiring after working in France as a AE.
Have any of you cancelled a business insurance policy when you retired and been asked for a certificate of retirement from your Chamber of Commerce in order to cancel the policy and have the cancellation dated as your effective date of retirement?
I ask this because we may retire before actually being eligible to request our official French retirement, as we have income from other countries that enable us to do this. Therefore we would not have a certificate of retirement from our chamber of commerce in order to cancel the insurance policy. I assume we can still cancel the policy as we would if we were going to change insurance providers…
