Has anybody heard of a new car tax?..it rises exhorbatantly as the CO2 rises and is charged annually.



I tried reading it through on the French government website under ‘Transport’, but couldn’t quite get to grips with it.

This is a tax to discourage gas guzzlers and encourage more eco friendly forms of transport, and applies to new vehicle purchases. Haven't heard of any annual charges tho!
