The problem is that the French require you to revoke any previously held citizenship upon taking French citizenship, unless you are a citizen of an EU member state.
I guess that if you are quick and do it before March next year you would be OK.

The only time taking French nationality would involve giving up nationality of another country, is if that other country doesnât allow dual nationality.
