A elderly neighbour has kindly given me a load of his deceased wife crafting bits and pieces as we used to do things together before her sad passing. One of things is this cat felting kit, it is all complete except for the instructions. I have a vague idea of how to do it and I am sure I can watch a youtube thingy but can anyone tell me what size is should be?

I watched the video but I don’t have the polystyrene ball in my kit, I thought about 6 inches tall so will work to that.
