CGT/Tax on Low Value Property

Hi all

My husband and I are selling a property, not principal residence for 25K, I understand this falls below the threshold for CGT which is set at 15K per person. If I am exempt from CGT does that basically mean there is no tax or social charges to pay in respect of the property?

Thanks in advance for any advice

Is this reference helpful?

Thanks Graham, I did read this and it confirms we are exempt from CGT on the basis of low value. I am not entirely sure though if this means there is absolutely no liability to any tax or social charges - ie when we complete our tax return.

Chat to your Notaire. I think he is responsible for collecting any tax due.
