Changing a printer default

(Chrissie Ott) #1

Hi there
This will probably win ‘noddy question of the week’…

I have Vista and MS Word (whatever the latest one is).

At the moment the print quality option is set to ‘Normal’ and I change it every time (using the Properties button on the Print option) to ‘Fast Draft’ in order to conserve ink. Is there any way of reversing this so the default is ‘Fast Draft’ ?

Thanks.

Oh duh! I’m blushing to my boots… I can’t believe I didn’t think of that!
Thanks Stuart!

Do it in the printers page from control panel without opening word. It should stay with the setting you use.
