We have a CIC bank account which I managed from my Laptop but I am now getting the message “Your username does not have permission to access this service” has anyone experienced this or is it just our account, can’t get a straight answer from the bank been in several times.

I have a CIC account which I manage via the app on my iPhone. No problems accessing it yesterday.
Incidentally, they do good comptes à terme. My Soc Gen conseiller looked disbelieving when I told him CIC had just offered me 3.7% for a 1-year compte à terme.
I take it that when you went into yourCIC branch, they confirmed that there wasn’t a problem in general with your account? It’s just that, some years ago, our local branch disabled my partner’s account after having confused him with someone else they wanted to get rid of…
Thanks for this ill ask next time. There seems to of been a lot of confusion can’t get a straight answer I didn’t know if was that they wanted to use the app only as I know they have altered the login proses

Actually, by the time I went to do the necessary last week the deal had changed.
They offered me 3.5% for 5 months, which I accepted.
Before tax (they levy the 30% flat tax (PFU) but I seem to get that reimbursed every August, apart from the 7.5% solidarity levy).
They also offer a “Compte Évolutif CIC”, if you want the option of leaving your savings untouched for up to 5 years. Not sure what the rates are for that right now.
