Clive James, writer, broadcaster and TV critic, dies aged 80

Very wry wit, I liked the way he always enjoyed his own humour with an appreciative smile. I could say, “I’ll miss him”, but lots like him have gone before since I’ve grown old, so “Farewell, Clive, and thanks” should do.

Clive James was a very witty man.
I see we have noticed that both he and Gary Rhodes have died, but what about Jonathan Miller?
He was a talent extraordinaire from comedy to Grand Opera and he was a neurologist as well.

I loved Jonathan Millers voice

Jane… I have posted obit for Jonathan Miller on my “Gary Rhodes and Others R.I.P.” thread

I’ll move it from Culinaria now to General…
