We may be away in France when the new rabbies shot is required so wondering if folk know the cost of the jab?

How big is the dog, and is this just a booster? Big dogs need bigger doses and cost more and if having to start from new then 2 shots which also costs more.
And do you have a relationship with a vet? As for one-off walk-in they could add a few €. Ours are all in with his annual jabs so cheap.

Its a booster dog is just over the 10kg so they will likely overdose as usual for a 20kg dog. Yes we have a relationship with a local practice their prices have shot up for the worming treatment so we maybe paying a UK citizen price hemce asking.
Misinformation here. It is given the same amount regardless of weight,it is given to create immune response not weight.
Possibly for the rabbies shot but not for all pet medications. Worming is now 2 tablets as dog is just over 10kg, it was a single tablet when she was under. Vet said 10-20 kg is 2 tablets, bit over for 150 grams I think.

Maybe different vaccine now - haven’t taken dog to Uk for a long time. But was certainly titrated.
Worming medications you have mentioned are not vaccines,chalk and cheese!
jac, you dont seem the informing type, more the scolding. Of course a worming treatment is not a vaccine but your tone is not that pleasant, misinformation is directly to through people off wereas we can all be wrong about something. I was merely pointing out that some medications are based on weight.

Tablets perhaps come in different sizes? Alfie was given 1 worming tablet and travelled to UK last weekend.
