I know I'm living in a foreign country and they do things differently here etc. etc. but was I daft to get upset at the following?
Invited to a social evening with a local group - asked to take a plate of food. I made cup cakes including fairy/butterfly cakes and was near to tears when the servers cut them all into four to present them on the table. I had taken such care with presentation!
