Cyril is just one of many many animals abandonned by British people every year.
Cyrils owners call Chats du Quercy at 9pm on a friday evening. We had to refuse him entry as we were full and have, as always a long waiting list which is why we need people to make plans for their animals weeks in advance. In this case, the owners were leaving France the very next morning!!
We were later contacted by neighbours, as the couple had left him there. They'd also left debts and unpaid wages.
Cyril is now with us and for adoption, we have tracked down the couple concerned and have notified the UK animal authorities of their actions. Sadly this is just one of many cases that we deal with annually.
Cyril on the other hand is a gorgeous tabby boy, calm and no trouble at all - he says "where ever I go, the Panda comes with me"!!
